Kanbe’s Markets deliver fresh and affordable food to inner-city “food deserts” in the Kansas City area. Their goal is to eliminate food insecurity by empowering individuals and providing them with healthy choices. Through Kanbe’s Healthy Corner Store program and other partnerships, they’ve served over 250,000 Kansas City residents in need of fresh, healthy and affordable food.

Jerry Vest, owner of Have Guns Will Rent Costumes and Props, takes us on a journey through his three warehouses full of props, costumes, replica weapons, taxidermy, coffins, Elvis Presley statues, and probably anything else you could possibly imagine.
Kids and parents alike line up at the doors of The Pearl to attend the monthly event: Drag Queen Storytime. Follow actor, Ron Megee, as he slips on his heels and reads a couple of his favorite books to some of Kansas City's cutest kids.
